Landscape/Hardscape Labourer

Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hour

Join a well-established landscape company in St. Mary's with over 30 years of experience creating beautiful outdoor spaces. We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Landscaper who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and takes pride in high-quality results.

As a Landscape/Hardscape Labourer, you'll support a variety of landscape installation and maintenance tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working with tools, and contributing to projects that enhance outdoor environments.

Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm or 6pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Plant trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Lay sod, grade soil, and prepare landscape beds
  • Assist with general landscape construction tasks
  • Install outdoor furnishings such as benches, bike racks, and site furniture
  • Operate landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, tractors, etc.)
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Transport materials using wheelbarrows, carts, shovels, and dollies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of landscaping experience
  • Experience with landscape equipment is an asset
  • Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to St. Mary's
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • AR or valid G License
  • Grade 12 or equivalent diploma
