Job Description
Following a placement in the West Lorne Centre, the Nurse Practitioner will work in our new Dutton satellite location alongside a registered practical nurse. It is an exciting new role expanding the Centre’s primary care services into Dutton-Dunwich. Our expansion of primary care services is possible through the Interprofessional Primary Care Team with the purpose of attaching clients to primary care. This service enhancement allows us to continue strengthening access to primary care within the communities we serve.

Our diabetes services are open to anyone and are offered at multiple locations in Elgin County.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse, Extended Class (RN-EC) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Perform responsibilities within CNO Registered Nurses, Extended Class (RN-EC) standards of practice and the Centre’s policies and procedures.
- Personal professional liability insurance and a satisfactory, current vulnerable sector police check are required.
- Understanding the challenges facing rural populations.
- Computer / EMR proficiency is required.
- Alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Centre.
