Clinical Solutions - Clinical Documentation

The Systems Analyst - Clinical is a subject matter expert responsible for a defined clinical application or function. They act as the technical voice for their team, leading design, change management and documentation. They provide level 2 and 3 support and guidance to the team's support analysts for product testing, and troubleshooting. They ensure alignment with architecture and domain strategies while supporting stakeholder engagement and operational delivery. Additionally, they provide guidance on Oracle Health (OneChart) model standards, maintain system performance, and help educate system users, internal ITS teams, and analysts within their team.

Regular Full-Time

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (guarantee of hours)

Rate of pay: $36.04 per hour - $49.56 per hour

Qualifications

  • College Diploma (two (2) years) in Computer Science or Health-related field, or equivalent as acceptable by the hospital; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent and related work experience; Five (5) years of experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of clinical applications and system functionality to design, test, and support solution builds and enhancements
  • Advanced experience with infrastructure, storage products, server and network architecture, monitoring components and technologies, and report building tools (ex. cloud computing and virtualization software and services, active directory and network technologies)
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve system issues and user-reported problems, including performance and integration concerns
  • Skilled in maintaining standard change processes, evaluating impact of system updates (e.g., packages, Flashes), and submitting governance requests
  • Effective at facilitating conversations, translating clinical needs into technical requirements, and delivering clear and actionable updates
  • Proficient in developing, executing, and delegating unit and regression testing, ensuring solution integrity and alignment with requirements
  • Information technology security - ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Recent and relevant experience with Cerner Millennium or other clinical applications as applicable to the position
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
