MCFBedard Group Inc. is looking for a Customer Service - Assistant to manage client inquiries, coordinate responses, and support our team in a dynamic Group Benefits Brokerage environment.

MCFBedard Group Inc. is looking for a Customer Service - Assistant to manage client inquiries, coordinate responses, and support our team in a dynamic Group Benefits Brokerage environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including handling incoming calls and emails, reviewing correspondence, preparing outgoing communications and courier packages, and assisting with ad-hoc projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a high volume of client and employee inquiries, triaging requests and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Maintain and update client records, reports, and internal tracking systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support and strengthen existing business relationships through responsive, professional service.
- Coordinate actions between internal team members, corporate clients, and insurance carriers/suppliers to deliver efficient and accurate outcomes.
- Provide backup support to other team members and departments as needed.
- Develop knowledge of Group Benefits products, processes, and systems through structured on-the-job training.
- College Diploma, University Degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong math skills; able to perform basic calculations and percentages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to draft clear, professional correspondence.
- Past experience in retail, customer service, or public-facing roles is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams); quick to learn new software.
- Handles confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with management.
- Willingness to take on new tasks and learn as needed.
- Ability to accept direction from multiple levels of management
