Job Description
Major Tax & Accounting, CPA is hiring a motivated Office Assistant for a part-time, seasonal position during our busiest time of year, February to mid-May 2026. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and confident juggling priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our staff and clients, so strong communication, a positive attitude, and a genuine team mindset are essential. The candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays due to tax season. This position averages thirty (30) hours per week, which pays an hourly rate of $20. Flexibility is important, as schedules are planned to support peak tax-season demand. Specific shifts will be scheduled in advance in coordination with the administrative team.

What You’ll Bring
- Previous administrative or office support experience (professional services is an asset)

What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to team members across the office
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a professional, friendly manner
- Assist with document preparation, scanning, filing, and data entry
- Support scheduling, meetings, and internal communications
- Help maintain a welcoming, organized front office environment
- Complete other administrative duties as needed to support daily operations
