Custom Machining – Industrial – Scientific - Medical
Shop Supervisor
Trident Technologies Inc. is a specialized reputable custom manufacturing / machine shop, committed to providing a dependable service and premium quality in the southwest region of Ontario. We currently have an immediate opening for an energetic and reliable individual working full-time in the position of Shop Supervisor.
The successful candidate must possess leadership and team management skills; be able to multi-task; is self-motivated; and have good organizational skills with attention to quality and detail.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge with set up and operation of CNC Machines, Lathes, etc.
- Read and interpret drawings
- Experience with MasterCam is an asset
- Supervise/Assist Team of 10-15 employees
- Ensure manufacturing specifications are followed
- Ensure project deadlines are achieved
- Maintain machines and workstations through preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot/Repair and improve machine processes when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Preferably 5+ years minimum experience as a Tool & Die Maker
- Minimum 10 years Machinist experience
- Previous Supervisory/Leadership experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Possess problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills
