Trudell Medical Limited (TML) provides oversight and support to its operating companies in Canada, USA, and Europe, including payroll and benefit services for all Canadian and European based employees.
Working with our Payroll and Benefits Specialist, and reporting to our Payroll and Benefits Manager, you will:
- Administer and process biweekly payroll for salary, hourly and on-call employees
- Process pay adjustments, retroactive, and vacation calculations and payments
- Maintain payroll related data files including electronic files in the HRIS
- Process Record of Employment forms
- Process employee pension enrolments and contribution changes
- Process employee benefit enrolment forms and changes
- Assist with T4 distribution
- You are trustworthy and always act with integrity; you show respect for others and continuously improve the systems and processes around you; and, you take accountability for your work
- You thrive in a team environment where you are open to learning from others, you adjust to others’ styles, and you drive hard to reach shared objectives
- You also have a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business Administration or something similar, and you’ve earned your PCP certification
- You’re comfortable navigating through an HRIS system and you can easily create and modify basic MS Excel spreadsheets
- And, you’ve gained at least three years of related experience where you’ve been able to demonstrate your commitment to paying attention to details, being organized, and focusing on your internal customers’ needs
