- High School Diploma & College in Business Preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the automotive industry; processes and operations
- Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Responsible for supervising Zone Leaders, Operators & Production Associates
- Ensure appropriate training, coaching, and discipline is given to ensure high performance of tasks to meet scheduled requirements
- Identify, record, and report quality non-conformances and escalate to management to prevent further processing, assembly, or delivery or non-conforming product
- Address all quality related problems and provide resolutions and recommendations to minimize production interruption
- Observe and assist in the evaluation of employee performance to ensure compliance with standards
- Analyze downtime to identify and provide resolutions on all problems
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching
- Minimize costs of operating through proper planning and efficient use of all available resources
- Participate in internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the quality system
- Monitor employee attendance
- Review end of shift reports for accuracy
- Abide by all company policies including
- Assist plant leadership in driving and accomplishing key performance indicators
- Assist in the hiring process and new associate orientation
