Production Supervisor

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma & College in Business Preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry; processes and operations
  • Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supervising Zone Leaders, Operators & Production Associates
  • Ensure appropriate training, coaching, and discipline is given to ensure high performance of tasks to meet scheduled requirements
  • Identify, record, and report quality non-conformances and escalate to management to prevent further processing, assembly, or delivery or non-conforming product
  • Address all quality related problems and provide resolutions and recommendations to minimize production interruption
  • Observe and assist in the evaluation of employee performance to ensure compliance with standards
  • Analyze downtime to identify and provide resolutions on all problems
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching
  • Minimize costs of operating through proper planning and efficient use of all available resources
  • Participate in internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the quality system
  • Monitor employee attendance
  • Review end of shift reports for accuracy
  • Abide by all company policies including
  • Assist plant leadership in driving and accomplishing key performance indicators
  • Assist in the hiring process and new associate orientation
