Reporting to the HMMS Manager, Supply Chain Technology, the Systems Specialist - BI Developer develops, maintains and improves reporting, data integrations, and BI solutions that support procurement and supply chain operations.
This position designs and builds data pipelines, dashboards, automated workflows and reporting tools using HMMS BI platforms, MS SQL-based tools and low code application builders. The role supports modernization of the HMMS Customer portal and participates in system upgrades, process improvements and solution design initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with operational leadership to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, execute development tasks, perform testing and support end user adoption.
The position provides technical support for HMMS reporting tools and contributes to optimizing business processes through data -driven solutions.
Essential Qualifications
- Community college diploma in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or Business- related
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
- 3 Years' experience working with database structures and creating effective queries to support BI and reporting needs
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Similar) to create, configure and maintain dashboards, reports and data workflows
- Understanding of data structures, relational databases, reporting concepts and rational databases to translate business requirements into data outputs/visualizations
- Demonstrated knowledge of system testing and data validation methods
- Understanding of IT governance and data security principles
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into data outputs or visualizations
- Experience with low-code / no-code platforms (e.g Microsoft Power Apps, OutSystems or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, including advanced Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Safety Culture in a Health Care setting in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Experience working with a CRM solution; exposure to project & customer service modules an asset
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, workflow automation and process optimization preferred
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
- Experience in healthcare setting is preferred.
- Add: Experience in Supply Chain setting is preferred
Immunization Requirements
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza. Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
