Job Description
We're seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our client's team in London, Ontario and work in a warehouse environment. This is a temporary, full-time opportunity with the possibility of permanent hire after 600 hours. You'll work in a world-class facility with an organization that makes beautiful countertops shipped worldwide. Note that some positions may require you use a respirator.
What We Offer:
- $20.50-$22.00/hr to start
- Temp-to-perm position
- Straight days, afternoon shift
- Steady hours & weekly pay cheque
What You'll Do:
- Ensure material flow is consistent and quality is checked.
- Record hourly data, including production totals, downtime, and notes of hourly activity.
- Inspect slabs based on process requirements, measure and record.
- Make appropriate changes required to maintain quality slabs.
- Change plastics and Teflon as required.
- Change scraper blades as needed.
- Maintain daily housekeeping in the working area, and complete mid/full cleans as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 6 months of machine operator or warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Effective in communication.
- Problem solver with excellent organizational skills.
- Enjoy physical labour.
