POSITION:
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR
Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
Term – December 2015 to approximately November 2016
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post secondary diploma or degree in an accounting related field
  • Minimum two years experience 
     
    SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Accpac
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Well developed interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and maintaining confidentiality is essential
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
  • Effective time management skills
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to set appropriate priorities 
     
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains the Accounts Payable Accpac system for London Children’s Connection
  • Ensures accuracy of all invoices and account allocations for invoices and deposits
  • Prepares cheques or on-line payments, in a timely manner
  • Prepares semi-annual GST recoverable reconciliation and annual property tax rebates
  • Maintains all related records
  • Completion of additional tasks as assigned by the Interim Financial Manager
