Job Description

Pathways Employment Help Centre (PEHC) unleashes people’s potential through Employment, Skills Training and Advocacy.  Pathways Employment Help Centre is hiring a Marketing Assistant.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Communications, the Marketing Assistant will work with the Marketing Team and Virtual Studio Team to create video content, and implement social media and web marketing strategies. They will promote Pathways Employment Help Centre and its Social Enterprises. This is a Canada Summer Jobs funded position requiring applicants to be born after May 1, 1994.

Position Responsibilities:

 
  • Assist with development of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including: Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google
  • Generate ideas for employment-related instructional videos
  • Develop print media materials
  • Assist with outreach activities to community organizations and PEHC partners

Qualifications: 
 
  • Graduate or senior student in either Communications, Marketing or Contemporary Media, and/or experience in digital/social media marketing
  • Strong knowledge of social media and web-based communications platforms
  • Experience in graphic design as well as video/audio production is preferred
  • Strong Writing skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable asking questions to on-camera interview subjects
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere is an asset
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
