Job Description
This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. This position is 8 consecutive weeks long; the successful applicant must be able to work the full term.
$16.55 per hour, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
*The candidate must be a permanent resident of Canada between the ages of 15-30 years of age as per the Canada Summer Jobs Guidelines*

Tasks and Responsibilities may include: Assisting Youth with a developmental disability to advance the skills needed to be successful in the world of work. Youth with a developmental disability will also increase independence and self-confidence benefitting them in community interactions and participation. Assisting Youth to identify their strengths, develop new skills and explore employment. Youth participate in training through interactive learning incorporating role-play activities and sharing of experiences. Pre-employment topics may include self-discovery, social skill training, and exploration of career interests.
