Our client in Waterloo region is looking for 2 SR Project Manager's to join their team on a 10 month contract. We are looking for a Project Manager who is PMI and/or PRINCE2 and scrum certified, who is also a generalist with experience planning and managing a wide range of project types (business process improvement with IT, pure business, capacity changes, infrastructure, refresh and upgrades etc.). Someone who has experience with both Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies would be ideal.

If you have 5+ years of PM experience, an excellent understanding of PM methodology, including planning, estimating, executing and controlling and proven experience managing IT Projects. Then we want to hear from you.

Qualifications:
5+ of Project Management experience
5+ years planning and managing various projects(pure business, business process improvement with IT, infrastructure, refresh/upgrade, capacity change..etc)
PMI and/or PRINCE2 certification
5+ years estimating project work effort and developing the project plan
5+ years scheduling and budgeting, as well as obtaining agreement with key managerial stakeholders.
5+ years controlling quality and project tracking
5+ years performing appropriate steps to bring project to a proper closure.
5+ years negotiating with resource managers to staff the project.
5+ years communicating with various stakeholders regarding: plans, actions, status, risks and any issues
Proven experience with waterfall, iterative waterfall, and agile scrum project execution would be an asset.
5+ years managing relationships with external software, hardware or people resources.
5+ years with waterfall and agile implementation methodologies
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required!
Scrum or Agile Certifications would be an asset
* Retail and/or distribution PM Experience a strong asset
Bachelor's degree College / University in a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
