Our client in the Waterloo region is looking for a Vendor Management Office- Manager, to join their team permanently. As a key member you will be working with an initiating the IT vendor Management office (VMO), followed by an Enterprise VMO to ensure quality solutions and meet the business needs.
You will have excellent communication skills and experience client facing, working with various stakeholders, strategic vendor partners and executive staff. Additionally you will have experience Managing a small team, and you will be responsible for all things to do with contracts, negotiations, Statements of work, RFP, reviews and renewals...etc

Qualifications:
Excellent communication both verbal and written, with great interpersonal skills
10+ years of direct work experience in a Vendor Management Office or similar responsibilities
3-5+ years of Management experience - (managing a small team of 2-5 people ideal)
Experience with Retail or Retail/Distribution
10 years Experience working with all levels of the business, as well as stakeholders, strategic vendor partners and executives
10 years Experience with contracts, RFP's, negotiations, renewals, reviews and Statements of work.
Excellent facilitation skills as well as leadership abilities.
Proven ability to be results oriented, solutions oriented, have a great business acumen and awareness of technical trends
Can self-manage, has excellent attention to detail, is organized and has strong time management skills as with a high focus on quality.
Experience working with research and advisory companies i.e. Gartner
