Job Description

Professional firm is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join their team for a maternity leave contract that may be extended. 

The position will report to the Office Manager and the role will be responsible for administrative support including reception coverage, drafting contracts, proofreading and electronic filing.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for administrative support formatting and editing executive documents including memos, letters and contracts

-Proofreading of letters and memos

- Front desk coverage as first point of contact for the office staff and greeting clients

- Reception duties including forwarding calls and taking phone messages for the office staff

-Supporting with electronic filing and creating financial statements

- All other administrative duties including incoming and outgoing mail, setting up for courier pick up, filing, faxing, scanning, banking and setting up the board room for meetings including ordering supplies and having meetings catered, handling petty cash

Requirements

- Must have 2 years of Administrative office experience and a diploma in a related field - Administration diploma

- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written skills

- Strong formatting and editing skills required for executive document management

- Advanced level Word, Excel skills and typing speed of 50 wpm

- Understanding of accounting principles is an asset

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
