Manufacturing Engineering Liaison

Are you Manufacturing Engineering Liaison looking to join a growing and stable team in an exciting 12 month contract, full time hours opportunity?

Monday to Friday, DAY shift in the London area.

Job Responsibilities
• Action Desktop prioritization from ME Liaison Team Lead
• Support audits with on-site customer
• Lead process improvement initiatives via WSBM teams
• Provide additional assistance to Technical Document Control (TDC)
• Develop Manufacturing Rework/Repair work instructions for production and CSS
• Support multi shift Production operations
• Maintain Departmental Procedures
• Software Integration to Manufacturing - Upload software to Production Vehicles
• Maintain Serial Record Sheets (SRS) - Assembly
• Support DMC process centers
• Product Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering point of contact for Manufacturing
• Provides support to shop floor colleagues and supervisors across all shifts to ensure efficient production processes
• Facilitate timely problem resolution of all Manufacturing/PA issues
• Participate and represent Manufacturing Engineering in Production meetings on Manufacturing Engineering outputs
• Plan and execute Focus on Quality and Manufacturing feedback sessions with production employees/supervision/EDT
• Coordinate Discrepant Material Control and Material Review Board processes
• Collect data to support root cause analysis performed by Development and Integration Leads
• Monitor Quality performance via Quality metrics and work closely with PA team
• Participate in productivity improvement initiatives
• Participate in Process Audits and Tool Proving exercises
• Lead MVB activity

Required Qualifications
• College Diploma in Weld/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering; or Skilled Trades license with 10+ years equivalent experience
• Excellent working knowledge of Team Center and Oracle
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast paced environment
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Maximo, Siemens NX
• Minimum 2 years & experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist for a heavy equipment manufacturer

Position location - London ON
Compensation - $27.00 to $39.00/hour
OT after 40 hours
