Our client, a leading supplier to the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their dynamic team near Chatham, Ontario. Located conveniently alongside the 401, our facility offers easy access and a prime location for your next career move.

As an Industrial Electrician with us, you will be responsible for:

• Layout, assembly, installation, repair, maintenance, connection, and testing of electrical fixtures, apparatus, and equipment wiring.
• Planning installations from blueprints, sketches, specifications, and overseeing the installation of all electrical and electronic devices.
• Diagnosing systematic faults in electrical systems and equipment, conducting repairs or component replacements as necessary.
• Testing electrical and electronic equipment for proper function, adhering to ESA and MAHLE Regulations.
• Conducting preventative maintenance on equipment and accurately recording maintenance activities in SAP.

Qualifications:

• A current and valid 309A Electrician – Construction and Maintenance Certificate or a 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate.
• Background in troubleshooting PLC and computer-controlled equipment.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in plastic injection molding or automotive industries, with experience working with PLCs.
