Director of Procurement

In this role you will have an impact by…
•Understand spend category, vendor landscape, industry trends, and new emerging developments and service offerings
•Apply analytics to identify cost and demand reduction opportunities
•Leadership on emerging vendor models, and align and set proactive sourcing agenda
•Spearhead intake requests and assign projects to team members and work with them to quantify spend associated with commodities under responsibility
•Measure savings achieved, drive efficiencies, centralize competencies and maximize the value of vendor relationships
•Tactically and strategically define, report, and achieve vendor metrics and reporting
•Lead supplier negotiations for large complex transactions. Ensure execution of strategy
•Manage team career development
You’re an ideal candidate for this role because you bring…
•Undergraduate degree, preferably business
•8+ years of experience in global supply chain management/vendor management
•In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
•Ability to create and execute project plans
•Solid understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal and business risk
•Experience in vendor governance and risk management
•Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relating to management of third party outsourcing
