Job Posting: Program Coordinator- Revenue Diversification 
(2 Year Full-Time Contract)
 
WILL Employment Solutions is seeking a talented Program Coordinator to launch and support the delivery of a new fee-for-service offering that would support employers requesting customized training for their newcomer-ready workplace.
The Coordinator will be tasked with updating the content of our existing workshops on diversity, equity, anti-racism and anti-oppression; formalizing a fee structure that supports WILL’s revenue diversification efforts; and marketing and delivering the customized curriculum to specific employer workplaces.
Reporting to the Team Leader, WILL Immploy Employer Engagement Project, the Program Coordinator will help WILL Immploy strengthen immigrant talent recruitment, integration, and retention efforts in workplaces across our region. To help accomplish this goal, the successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the WILL Immploy Recruitment and Employer Engagement teams while also engaging staff across all teams in the organization as training partners.

  • Strong Understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), Anti-Racism, and Anti-Oppression Concepts: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of these principles, with the ability to effectively integrate them into training programs and curriculum development.
  • Curriculum Development and Enhancement: Proven experience in designing, updating, and enhancing training curricula to meet the needs of diverse audiences, with a focus on creating welcoming workplaces for newcomers and immigrant job seekers.
  • Program Coordination: Ability to manage all aspects of program development and implementation, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and evaluation.
  • Training Delivery: Proficiency in delivering engaging and interactive workshops both in-person and online, with the ability to adapt content to different learning styles and preferences.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote programs and services, with a focus on reaching regional employers and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support program goals and objectives.
  • Cultural Competency: Sensitivity to and awareness of cultural differences, with the ability to create inclusive and welcoming environments for diverse participants.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for program improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and information to diverse audiences.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, with a willingness to innovate and try new approaches to program development and delivery.
  • High Level of Autonomy and Effective Team Collaboration: An ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions to address them.
  • Commitment to Equity and Social Justice: Demonstrated passion for advancing equity and social justice, with a commitment to creating inclusive workplaces and communities.
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience leading project work.
  • Proficient with Database Systems: Comfort and experience with database systems and entering data and maintaining data integrity.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check (funder requirement).
  • Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle: Must be able to travel to worksites locally and regionally as required.
  • Professional Demeanour: Polite, respectful and professional in appearance, and an ability to handle confidential information.

  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive workshops both in-person and online, ensuring that content is delivered effectively to meet the needs of diverse participants.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the training program to regional employers and stakeholders, including creating marketing materials, attending networking events, and leveraging social media platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations and other regional stakeholders to promote collaboration and support for the training program.
  • Customization and Tailoring: Customize training content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs and preferences of participating employers and organizations.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback from participants to identify areas for program improvement and refinement.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to program participation, outcomes, and impact, and use this information to make data-driven decisions for program enhancement.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that training materials and delivery methods adhere to best practices and quality standards, and continuously strive for excellence in program delivery.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of program activities, including participant attendance, feedback, and evaluations, and prepare regular reports for program funders, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in diversity, equity, inclusion, and related fields, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and partners within the organization to coordinate program activities, share resources, and leverage expertise to achieve program goals and objectives. Maintain up to date knowledge of all programs and services offered by WILL and help effectively communicate and promote them to employers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for program innovation and improvement, and proactively seek feedback from participants and stakeholders to inform program enhancement efforts.
