A food manufacturing company in London, Ontario is looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop / Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using tools, and takes pride in keeping a facility clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Location: London, ON
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and cleanup
• Assist with repairs, servicing, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Safely use hand tools and power tools
• Break down and dismantle skids as required
• Remove garbage and maintain clean work areas
• Perform general shop and facility cleanup
• Complete painting and basic maintenance tasks
• Assist the maintenance team with other duties as required
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment is an asset
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good physical condition and comfortable with hands-on work
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
