WHO WE ARE

THE POSITION                     
  • Assist in auditing, planning, creating and implementing each year's training requirements
  • Conduct training needs analysis
  • Coordinate all internal and external training
  • Maintain all training records within the training system and ensure the records are up-to-date
  • Coordinate and administer employee training sessions.
  • Seek and gather information from management, employees and other departments regarding the effectiveness of completed training courses and constantly seek to improve
  • Create printed and instructional materials to be used in training
  • Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees
  • Coordinate the on-boarding and orientation for new hires through pre-hire communication, managing start dates and access to training, and the processing of new hire documentation.
  • Report all training and development conducted on and off site for the KPI
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
  • Maintain employee and human resources files, as well as making updates to the systems and processes as required.
  • Perform reception duties
  • Backup to the HR Coordinator, Payroll, and Benefits Administrator.
  • Coordinate company social events.
  • Support EMS processes and projects for continual improvement of ISO 14001 management system
  • Comply with company policies and procedures supporting the quality management system, environmental management system and health and safety
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU OFFER
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, or working towards
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a human resource position, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now (asset)
  • Required to travel between local sites and requires own reliable transportation
