SEO/GEO Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for an SEO/GEO Specialist who can lead organic search strategy and local search optimization for a wide range of clients, including multi-location brands and franchises. You'll be responsible for developing technical SEO plans, on-page optimization, content recommendations, and GEO/location-based strategies that drive visibility, rankings, and qualified traffic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis
  • Develop on-page optimization strategies (metadata, content structure, internal linking)
  • Lead technical SEO improvements (site speed, indexing, schema, crawlability)
  • Own local SEO/GEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization
  • Build and manage ongoing tracking dashboards and reporting
  • Collaborate with content and creative teams on SEO-driven content planning
  • Monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, local search, and multi-location optimization
  • Proficiency with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Moz
  • Experience building keyword strategies and content frameworks
  • Ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable changes

Nice to Have

  • Experience in franchise marketing or multi-location SEO at scale
  • Familiarity with schema markup and structured data
  • Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot CMS

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000
