Reporting to the Director, London Regional Employment Services (LRES), the Manager, Community Partnerships & Employer Engagement will be responsible for the successful delivery of Employment Services across the London catchment area (City of London, County of Middlesex, County of Elgin and County of Oxford) in accordance with local and provincial requirements. This position develops, manages and deepens external relationships, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives to advance the strengths of employment agencies and partners to ensure an employment services program that meets the unique needs of employers and job seekers through the implementation of new, creative, innovative approaches. This position will work with organizations that support diverse and equity-denied individuals and communities such as Black people, Indigenous people and other racialized peoples, persons with disabilities, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, women, Francophones, Youth at Risk, Over 55+.
This position works collaboratively with the Manager, Employment Services Operations and is jointly responsible for oversight of service provider contracts and relationships with key interest-holders across the region to achieve the collaborative LRES vision while adhering to the contract requirements of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
