ConnexOntario Health Information Services is a not-for-profit organization that works with various sectors of the Ontario health care system in the collection and provision of information and in the creation of innovative data solutions.  We currently have a full-time position available for a Report Developer.   Competitive salary and benefits offered.
 
Reporting to the Director-Data, Product and Project Management, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
 
 

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date centralized databases of information;
• Designing, programming and maintaining various standard and customized reports and products resulting from the extraction of data from the Oracle database.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 

• University graduation with an honours degree or community college diploma in web technology, information technology, computer sciences and/or other disciplines directly related to the computer field, or comparable training
• Advanced PL/SQL, SQL , VBA skills
• Three to five years report development experience
• Report writing, report presentation, and data manipulation experience
• Direct experience with ticketing systems, Oracle, report developer tools, Cognos BI Tools, web development technology, and MS office applications
• Experience with XML concepts and creation
• Attention to detail, the ability to meet multiple deadlines, and capability to multi-task
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Project management experience
• Commitment to stay abreast of current information technologies, standards, and usability principles
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Experience working in the health or social services field
• Familiarity with the addiction and/or mental health services system in Ontario
• Bilingual in French and English would be considered a definite asset
