The Thames Valley Education Foundation
One (1) candidate is required to assist with a number of events that support the Thames Valley Education Foundation. Duties will include assistance with a community outreach project for backpack/supply collection; assisting with social media promotion; event documentation and a significant data entry project to assist with developing a fundraising program. An interest in Nonprofit/ Community Development, Business or Marketing would be an asset. Related experience and use of Microsoft Excel would be an asset. Candidates must be detail oriented and be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
This position is funded by a government program that creates quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30 years. Only youth aged 15 to 30 years may be eligible participants.
Dates of Employment: 2021 July 5 to 2021 October 8
Location: 1250 Dundas Street, London
Hours of Work: 25 hours per week
Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (1/2 hr lunch)
Rate of Pay: $15.25 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
Expiry Date: 2021 May 10
