FLYER COORDINATOR
 
Description of Responsibilities

I. Flyer Production
  • Manage the flyer production schedule and ensure it is adhered to, current and adequate to the department needs;
  • Develop flyer block plans;
  • Customize flyer requests placed by Stores and Dealers;
  • Verify dockets prior to production and ensure docket and block plans correspond;
  • Track zone pricing to ensure accuracy and adherence to production schedule;
  • Responsible for proofreading flyer layouts and for ensuring Regional accuracy and compliance to product and zone pricing information contained in the docket;
  • Make any necessary adjustments/corrections on the flyers and coordinate any add-ons, distribution problems or cancellations;
  • Coordinate proofs between Advertising Agency and Buying Team and review final flyers to ensure accuracy prior to release to print;
II. Development and Implementation of Flyer Programs
  • Support development and facilitation for the Chalifour Canada Ltd. programs in conjunction with the National Advertising Manager, the Director of Marketing and the Procurement Team;
  • Support concepts to promote in-store facilitation of programs;
  • Develop and coordinate flyer docket management with buying team;
 III. Communication
  • Answer any questions concerning distribution, contracts or complaints;
  • To communicate any changes that may arise with contracts or flyers: issue of credit notes, erratum, etc;
  • Post flyer layouts online for Dealers;
 IV. General Administration
  • Coordinate the flyer and program invoicing;
  • Timely billing of each flyer event nationally.
Qualifications
  • Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset;
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Business Marketing or Advertising Program and minimum 3 years relevant work experience;
  • Experience in retail print production;
  • Experience within the Home Improvement industry an asset;
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to establish perimeters including negotiating deadlines and deliverables with business partners at all levels;
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task;
  • Strong work ethic and attention to details and accuracy, energetic, motivated, and results-oriented.
