Job Description
Millwright
On behalf of my client in the London area I am recruiting for a Millwright for a Direct Hire position. This client offers the potential to pursue a dual trade if you so choose but is not required. The successful candidate must be available to work weekends and continue ongoing rotation.
Hourly Rate: $35.86 per hour after probation period + Overtime is optional after 40 Hours
Shift Schedule:
Week 1) Afternoons (m to f)
Week 2) Days (m to f)
Week 3) Nights (m to f); this shift continues into the weekend from Friday Night to Saturday at Noon. Back Saturday at Midnight working until Sunday at Noon, paid for 40 hours for the weekend 12 hours.
Week 4) OFF for 5 days Monday to Friday, work 12 hours Sat & Sunday Night or Aft Shift
Week 5) OFF for 7 days; Start all over again on Monday.
Position Perks:

Key Job Responsibilities
To provide maintenance and support to the plants, maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance in addition but not limited to:

- Capable to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, change faulty components, and process troubleshooting are assets
- Access Plex for completing work orders for Maintenance
- PLC programming using RS Logix5000 is an asset
- Robotic trouble shooting using Motoman Robots
- Ability to work in a schedule-driven environment to meet deadlines, and manage workload; and
- Can work effectively as part of a team, with apprentices, and independently.
Must Have Requirements / Assets
- Millwright License (433A)
- 2 to 5 Years Experience in a Maintenance Millwright position in Manufacturing
- Ability to pass a Clear Criminal Background Check – Processed and cost covered by agency
- 2 Supervisory References from recent employers
- Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot motors & controls without supervision
- Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
- Hold a valid Canadian driver’s license with a good driving record
- Analytical thinking, innovative problem solver with independent decision-making skills
- Own tools are required (equal replacements will be provided if they break)
