RECORDS CENTRE - SUMMER STUDENT POSITION
One (1) student is required to assist with a large project for the TVDSB Records Centre. The primary project will focus primarily on the organization and retention of records, which will involve purging old records and organizing and labelling box contents.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Dates of Employment: 2026 May 04 to 2026 August 21
Location: Records Centre (951 Leathorne St) with possible work done at the Education Centre (1250 Dundas St)
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Monday-Friday: 0830 -1600 with a ½ hour unpaid lunch
Rate of Pay: $17.60 per hour plus 4 % vacation pay)
Expiry Date: 2025 December 31
PLEASE NOTE ALL SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
1 A SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER; and
2. IF 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK FOR WORKING WITH VULNERABLE PERSONS.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Academic and/or professional experience handling sensitive personal information
- An interest in records management and/or archives would be an asset
- Able to lift up to 40lbs and sit for long periods of time
- Returning to post-secondary school in fall 2026
