Job Description

StarTech.com is currently looking for an Accounts Payable / Account Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.

Reporting to the AP/AR Manager, the AP/AR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions in day to day activities as well as providing support to the overall Finance team for varying projects. Duties will include activities such as processing payments, corresponding with vendors, collections of A/R accounts, preparing monthly aging reports, and reviewing daily credit card orders, along with other duties as assigned. This role interacts with vendors and both internal and external customers, so the ability to provide a high level of customer service is a must. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and benefit package.

What You Can Show Us

  • 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general accounting functions
  • Post-secondary education in a business or accounting program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications especially Microsoft Excel, ACCPAC or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service standards, problem solving, communication, decision making, organization and trouble shooting skills
  • The ability to work under time constraints, effectively prioritizing multiple functions
  • The passion for and ability to analyze financial information and properly escalate anomalies and issues
