Job Overview:

The Product Content Specialist will manage product content, digital assets, and product content output quality (i.e.product groupings, data completeness, quality and product visibility) through multiple outputs (Salsify, bCom, Salesforce) utilizing corporate systems like Hybris, Celum, PISA, HAMR etc. for the Global Product Content team. This person is responsible for managing product marketing & technical information at the SKU and other levels throughout the product lifecycle from NPI to obsolete from an Area and Global perspective. They may also participate on corporate teams and projects to streamline and improve the product content management process.The Product Content Specialist must be proficient in MS Excel (proven experience working with large data sets of 10K lines and dozens of columns using v-lookup and pivot tables). Experience with media content management including images, document files and videos from loading to output on dynamic websites and other downstream systems is also a plus.

 

 Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Collect, load and manage product data and metadata in Hyrbis & Celum to support businesses digital presence on web & mobile sites, syndication with account partners, Salesforce.com and related e-applications

·  Understand the corporate interrelated systems and translate business product catalog, syndication and other requirements into appropriate data structure and architecture to achieve desired results

·  Work closely with worldwide Product Content Operations counterparts including Global Service Centers to execute global and area priority projects and ensure alignment of procedures to protect data integrity, maximize content re-use, and ensure process and output standardization worldwide

·  Collaborate with business resources to acquire, store & manage product attributes, content, media, metadata, and media links with focus on accuracy,completeness and final output quality to multiple systems

·  Working with counterparts representing various businesses stakeholders,anticipate data problems that could result in poor user experience or other issues,raise awareness and find solutions proactively with stakeholders

·  Audit Area product catalog completeness, accuracy, standardization, and quality and follow up with IT, Global PCO counterparts, or data owners (i,e.,Marketing, Application/Design Engineers, Regulatory) as warranted to close gaps and make improvements

·  Stay abreast of system and corporate objective trends and plans and raise concerns/awareness as appropriate with management and/or business clients in time to react

·  Lead projects as warranted including developing and managing the project plan, managing timelines, delegating work, and making adjustments as necessary while communicating regularly with stakeholders

·  Provide assistance/training regarding ongoing maintenance processes and process changes

·  Leverage data mining techniques and resources to maximize productivity when populating catalog content

·  Manage requests in the request system to ensure proper status checks and metrics reporting

·  Create ad-hoc reports as requested by business and other teams

·  Identify process improvements to streamline implementations/replications and reduce maintenance efforts

·  Maintain process documentation

·  Represent Digital Operations and division interests on corporate teams 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Information Management is preferred

·       Minimum of two (2) years of experience with data management and manipulation including   Microsoft Excel v-lookups and or get/transform, pivot tables and functions is required

·       Experience working with large data sets of 10K+ lines is required

·       Ability to think critically and grasp system design and interdependencies

·       Project management experience with demonstrated ability to prioritize work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications:

·       2 years working with PIM and DAM systems

·       1 year working with Hybris and Celum

·       Experience with or the ability to learn/utilize database query tools

·       Excellent communications, writing and oral presentation skills

·       Ability to work with minimal supervision, lead meetings, lead small teams

·       Ability to work with several different functions, across multiple levels in the organization

·       Strong leadership ability, coaching skills, and willingness to challenge the status quo
