Job Description
Logistics Dispatcher
Established and expanding transportation services provider seeks outstanding and energetic individuals to join our team.
This position involves customer service, sales, pricing, costing, negotiating, and vendor relations. Our Logistics Coordinators are responsible for providing premium transportation services to our customers and are the key link between our customers, systems, and industry providers. We provide the highest level of customer care, and are an extension of our customers’ shipping process.
Ideally, you should have experience with a Freight Broker.
You will bring a sense of urgency to tasks, can comfortably make decisions on the spot and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
You will become a freight expert that quickly solves problems, resolves conflicts, meets deadlines and facilitates the flow of information between various parties.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
> freight coordinating experience with a freight brokerage or 3PL firm
> exceptional customer service skills
> effective communicator – verbal & written
> motivated & self-disciplined; ability to work with minimal supervision
> ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment & multi-task
> strong organizational, math & analytical skills
> high energy & stamina
> resourceful & innovate, natural problem solver
> thorough work habits with a focus on quality & detail
> learns & adapts quickly
> follows direction well
> positive minded team player, interacts well with others
> moderate MS Office skills: with an emphasis on Excel & Word, email, internet
