This role requires the successful applicant to commit to an in-office work arrangement up to 5 days a week beginning in 2027.

Job summary:

As part of the Actuarial Services team, you will support the delivery of reliable, accurate and timely actuarial analysis for internal and external clients. You will contribute to a range of projects that support rate setting, liability valuation, financial forecasting and experience rating, helping provide actuarial advice to the WSIB and the Ontario MOL.

What you will do:

- Support actuarial projects through data analysis, model development, validation and reporting
- Assist with pricing, liability valuation, financial projections and experience rating work
- Help maintain and improve actuarial models, assumptions and systems
- Prepare analyses, reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Respond to information requests and support audits, studies and special projects
- Work with internal partners and external stakeholders to gather data and provide actuarial insight

What you bring:

- Post-secondary degree in mathematics, science, business or a related field
- Basic knowledge of actuarial principles
- At least 0-2 years of experience in insurance or financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Completion of 2 or more SOA/CAS exams, or equivalent experience

Assets:

- Degree in actuarial science
- 3 or more years of actuarial experience
- Experience with VBA, SAS, SQL or GGY AXIS
