Job Description
Since 1949, TVCC has been working with children and youth to help them reach their full potential. Today, a wide range of services and supports are provided for young people with physical disabilities, communication disorders, developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders to support them in attaining the best available quality of life and health. In partnership with local and regional agencies, TVCC annually serves more than 11,000 children, youth and their families from birth to age 19 across Southwestern Ontario in over 700 locations.
We are currently recruiting for one (1) regular, full-time (37.5 hours per week) Manager, Finance. This new position will be responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day financial operations for TVCC. This includes maintaining the General Ledger, as well as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Fixed Asset sub systems. As a member of the Centre Leadership team, this position will also work with Directors and other Managers to lead and create the annual budget process.
The designated office for this position is London. This position is expected to begin April 2026.
Salary Range: $54.01 - $63.54/hour

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Finance & Information Technology, the successful candidate will:- Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all financial functions and monthly financial reporting.
- Provide training, guidance, support and mentoring to Business Office staff to resolve finance issues related to processes and procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate Business Office staff, scheduling and work assignments.
- Analyze all income and expense accounts. Take initiative to investigate variances and locate errors. Work with program leadership to correct errors.
- Ensure all financial subledgers (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets) are accurate before bringing the information into the General Ledger. Ensure individual sub ledgers balance to the General Ledger.
- Oversee the monthly and year end reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, to ensure they are being prepared on time and accurately for onsite audit.
- Respond to inquiries from leadership team, provide detail reports/analysis and any other ad hoc reports as requested using Crystal Reports to pull the required information from Virtuo MIS, by MediSolution (Accounting/Payroll/Human Resources software).
- Take the lead role with the annual budget process.
- Lead the coordination, preparation and completion of all working documents and reconciliations. Work with the auditors before, during and after onsite audit.
- Coordinate with the Virtuo vendor and the TVCC Systems Administrator, to ensure all required software updates and patches have been applied in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum four year undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g. Business Administration)
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or working toward and within one year of becoming a CPA
- Minimum 5 years experience in a progressively responsible accounting position, experience as a Finance Manager preferred
- Demonstrated ability in strategic and analytical thinking
- A consistent, mature approach with a resilient nature
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in mentorship and coaching
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organization skills and proven ability to manage multiple competing demands, delegate and manage time effectively and maintain accuracy or work and attention to detail
- Management skills including decision making, leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, team building, and organizational abilities
- Excellent computer skills; including proficiency in Virtuo and Microsoft Office 365. Formal project management training preferred
- Proficiency in the French language would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
