What Will You be Doing?
This role will be based out of our Strathroy office and will attract a go-getter whose energy, warmth and welcoming nature shine through whether dealing over the phone, via email or in person. 

Overseeing the front desk at our Strathroy office, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting that location or calling into any one of our four offices. Phone managment duties are shared with 2 other team members at other locations, but this particular role will also include appointment booking responsibilitie for our team's advisors. We have a methodical and well-organized system of managing the team's appointment booking tasks that you will be expected to learn, implement and improve upon as you gain confidence and expertise in your role.

Comfort with technology is a must as you will be managing multiple Outlook calendars, using a VOIP phone system on a laptop to take/make/direct calls, and working within our Salesforce client database. While from time to time you will call referred leads who are not yet clients, the majority of outgoing calls will be to our existing client block. We are a well-established group of advisors and never cold call. 

Your responsibilities, for which you will receive training, will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Incoming/outgoing calls and emails to schedule appointments between existing clients or qualified leads and their financial advisor. 
  • Managing multiple Outlook Calendars and Mail
  • Working within and contributing to our Salesforce database to pull up booking tasks, record conversations, and modify client profiles. 
  • Confirming Next Day's appointments and rescheduling as needed
  • Keeping the office neat and tidy, welcoming visitors and showing them hospitality in the way of offering them a coffee, taking their coat, etc.
  • Office closing tasks including taking cheques to the bank, if needed

  • Can speak and write/type with correct grammar, poise, and professionalism 
  • You enjoy socializing-- we do puzzles, have social gatherings, go out to eat, etc and would love for you to join us.
  • You're punctual, reliable, trustworthy.

 The Fine Details
  • While you will be employed by Focus Financial Solutions Inc., you must successfully complete Sun Life’s credit and criminal backcheck and selection paperwork in order to secure this position. This is because we are contracted with Sun Life Financial, work with their clients and have access to their systems.
  • Monday-Thursday 10am-5pm with a 30min paid break each day. This is an in-office position.
  • $24,752-$27,664 starting annual salary (equates to $17-$19/hr based on experience)
  • 6% vacation accrual (3 weeks per calendar year)
  • Benefit plan (health & dental) after 3 months’ full-time employment
  • Group RSP or TFSA with 2% matching after 1 year of full-time employment
