What will you do as a Product Communication Specialist at MCCG?

As a Product Communication Specialist, you will work collaboratively with developers, product specialists, and client focus groups, to gather information to create reference material, online help and release notes for both the day-to-day user and system administrators for our next-generation insurance back-office system.  In addition, working with our team, you will be responsible for creating presentation and media communications for our company to promote our products and services for our client community and industry.

Requirements of the Product Communication Specialist

• Preferred but not mandatory: University degree or college diploma in English, Communications, Journalism, Web content writing or related field

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the communication and digital content writing field or related area

• Demonstrated experience preparing various documents such as Online Help, Release Notes, and reference material

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic web design fundamentals

• Thorough knowledge of standard writing practices

• Demonstrated experience in multi-media presentations and corporate communications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and quickly learn new technologies

• Effective time management abilities

• Proven attention to detail, ability to work independently, and take initiative and ownership

Preferred Knowledge of the Corporate and Product Communication Specialist

• Knowledge of the insurance industry

• Digital media production

• Experience with Online Help products such as Robo Help, and WalkMe
