CATALOGUING SERVICES - SUMMER STUDENT POSITION(S)

Three (3) post-secondary students are required in the Cataloguing Services, a branch of Library Services, to complete inventory of the library collections in schools, processing catalogued resources, sorting, packing and unpacking boxes of books. Applicants must have access to a vehicle as travel to TVDSB schools is a requirement of the role.

Candidates must be 16 years of age or older, currently attending school full-time and must be
returning to school full-time in 2021 September. Submit a copy of your 2020-2021 school timetable
along with your electronic application (transcripts will not be accepted in lieu of a timetable).

Qualifications:              The successful candidates must have access reliable transportation as travel to schools in TVDSB is a                                         requirement for this role.

Dates of Employment: 2021 July 2 to 2021 August 27

Location:                     Remote or Cataloguing Services – Library Services (951 Leathorne St. London)

Hours of Work:            35 hour per week
                                      Monday-Friday: 0800 -1600 with a ½ hour unpaid lunch

Rate of Pay:                 $14.25 per hour plus 4 % vacation pay (over 18 years of age)

3.         POST OFFER PRE-PLACEMENT MEDICAL SCREENING TESTS
