Job Description

As a company in the Timberland Group, TIMBERLAND EQUIPMENT LIMITED is a Canadian-owned, entrepreneurial, globally recognized company located in Woodstock, Ontario, where we are a fully operational facility with sales, engineering, and manufacturing departments all under one roof. 

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator. This is a full-time position with an attractive compensation package for the right candidate.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position maintains and supports the online platforms of the Group, and the companies in the Group’s brand to grow our digital presence, builds brand awareness, and inbound marketing to expand the global reach of the Group. It designs enhancements to and development of communications and marketing programs in order to promote the Group. Researches and develops new marketing programs, including direct mail, internet marketing, trade shows/conventions, workshops, advertisements, sales tools and other virtual and live initiatives. The position summary is to be used as a guideline only and may not incorporate all functions of the job.
  • Provide unique digital design strategies for all of social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Develop and maintain social media advertising including copywriting, lead conversions, and inbound marketing
  • With material provided by General Managers and Sales Managers, develop social media and digital marketing campaigns for new products, events, service, etc.
  • Create content that captures an audience and keeps their attention on the Group’s websites and social media accounts
  • Maintain the Group’s website including product management, blogs and general content
  • Capture and edit images of products, company events, tradeshows, etc. to deliver compelling and original visual imagery online
  • Effectively and accurately measure and report monthly on multiple key performance indicators, and marketing metrics
  • Utilize data to continually improve future campaigns and various initiatives 
  • Produce Group’s internal newsletter with direction from COO

ATTRIBUTES WE SEEK
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration - Marketing
  • Minimum three years of experience in social media and/or marketing
  • Experience developing marketing communication/campaigns and analyzing marketing metrics for revenue generation
  • Proven ability in professional business writing and presentations
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media channels and platforms, and media monitoring software, and other public relation tools
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce an asset, as well as design concept tools and software such as Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to understand technical concepts with respect to how equipment is used so appropriate marketing material may be developed
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and execute projects in a fast-paced, often pressured environment and see a project through to completion
  • Proven sense of urgency in completing tasks
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and effectively manage assignments
  • Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
