Overview of the Position Reporting to the Director of Economic Development and Tourism, the Economic Development Officer is responsible for providing support for the development and implementation of initiatives that support the objectives of the County’s Economic Development Strategic Plan. This position will be involved in activities such as economic planning, marketing, project management, research and community engagement.

The pay range for this position is $31.73 to $35.72, based on a 35-hour workweek (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) Flexible hours required for meetings and special events including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
