Salford is seeking a Marketing Coordinator (1 year contract) to work out of the Salford, Ontario Headquarters and assist in marketing operations and promotions across North American for the 50+ products in our equipment line.

Marketing Coordinator Job Duties
  • Assists in updating and proofing existing and new marketing material and presentations primarily using existing content or through research/collection from various sources including subject matter experts within Salford.  Make sure materials are distributed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Generate company press releases and ensure distribution to industry publications and media outlets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with editors and other media representatives securing editorial coverage of company and its products.
  • Maintain and update company website while maximizing SEO.  Review Google Analytics, Google Ads and Social Media tracking reports and share with marketing staff.  Work with IT staff to maintain and update dealer portal.
  • Oversee company social media efforts.  Develop and post content for Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Salford e-news.
  • Develop promotional material strategies.  Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements; inventorying of stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Plan trade shows, meetings and field days by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and duty assignments.
  • Communicate with Territory Sales Managers and customers; follow up on web leads.
  • Provide a range of additional administrative and marketing support duties relating to day-to-day operations for the Marketing team.

Job Requirements
  • Due to the fast paced nature of the position, the Marketing Coordinator needs to be highly organized and able to multi-task proficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team, achieve results in a timely manner, and communicate potential problems or issues in advance are key.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, or Adobe programs an asset (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro)
  • Degree or Diploma in Business or Commerce (Major in Marketing, and/or Bachelors Degree an asset).
  • Agricultural Background strongly preferred.
