Job Description

Salford Group Inc. is a rapidly growing agricultural equipment manufacturer with headquarters located south of Ingersoll, Ontario. Salford is seeking fulltime accounting manager.  The responsibilities and qualifications are as outlined below.

  • Day to day supervision of the company accounting function and personnel (general accounting, payables, invoicing)
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements
  • Prepare Board of Directors package
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets
  • Responsible for audit working papers and account reconciliations
  • Ensures that month end task at operating companies are completed accurately and on a timely basis
  • Responsible for month end accounting entries
Knowledge and Must have skills:
  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Advanced excel-based financial modelling skills (& Power BI)
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as a team member

Education and must have experience:
  • 8+ years accounting experience
  • Experience working with an ERP System
  • Must have experience in consolidation of financial statements for multi-currency entities
  • Must have supervisory experience

Preference will be given to candidates with supervisory experience in multi-site company
