Job Description
Renaissance Personnel is a full service agency recuriting for an Accountant on behalf of our client in the Chatham-Kent area. This is a Direct Hire oppurtunity.
Summary of Responsiblities:
Reporting to the GM the Accountant’s responsibilities will include general accounting, forecasting, financial reporting & analysis and cost accounting, while providing support to AR, AP and inventory management. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a requirement.
Complexity of Tasks:
-Must have knowledge in all facets of financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow and Cost Accounting
-The complexity of the business structure and intercompany relationships
-Specific Working knowledge of all related financial operating systems: Spire, Financial Consolidation software (BO), SAP
Qualifications:
-Accounting Designation (CPA) or BA degree in Finance; Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Corporate Accounting.
-Knowledge and experience with IFRS are valuable.
-Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Effective communicator with ability to explain financial results to non-financial personnel
-Adaptable to change in work requirements and willingness to learn multiple functions
-Must be analytical, detail oriented, and able to problem-solve. Must work with little supervision and be reliable to meet strict monthly deadlines.
-Must be adaptable to change and willing to learn multiple accounting functions.
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
Hours of Work - Full time - Monday to Friday
