POSTION: Food Laboratory Quality Control Technician – 2 positions – Fulltime Permanent
DUTIES:
- Ensure the in-house laboratory program meets Customer, Company, and Government requirements by following established protocols;
- Work with the Sanitation team to ensure the environmental programs are in place and acceptable results are achieved, micro results are within customer expectations.
- Provide regular trending data on ATP and microbiological swab results collected for our Environmental program.
- Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the in-house microbiology program including Good Laboratory Practices.
- Ensure that the microbiological program is effective and is functioning per the written program and ensure the timely release of finished goods in compliance to Customer, Company, and Government requirements
- Follow up any out of specification microbiological results with a Root Cause Analysis;
- Report all information to the QA Manager and Quality Assurance Director.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- College or University degree in Food Safety and Quality Assurance
- B.Sc or equivalent
- One year Experience as Food Quality Assurance Technician
