Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper on a part time basis.
 
Duties (may include and not limited to)
  • Oversee all financial transactions
  • All accounts payable and receivable activities
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Invoicing
  • Creation and analysis of monthly financial statements
  • WSIB and EHT remittances
  • Completion of biweekly payroll for up to 20 staff
  • Calculation of commissions
  • Month end activities
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a College Diploma or University degree in Accounting or equivalent in experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (particularly Excel)
  • Proficiency in time and priority management required
 
Compensation: $20.00-25.00 per hour
 
Hours: Flexible scheduling, 16-24 hours per week with flexibility for increased hours as required
