With great pleasure, Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to be partnering with Start.ca in the exciting search effort for a visionary, highly collaborative and people-focused Vice-President of Employee Success to join their London, Ontario team. In this newly created position, the Vice-President of Employee Success will be an influential member of the Start.ca leadership team and act as a trusted advisor in the delivery of a wide range of people-related programs and services for a 24/7 continuous operation with employees working in remote, hybrid, and in-person capacity. This proven, emotionally intelligent and autonomous leader will focus on enhancing employee morale, development and performance through the effective implementation of the following key programs; performance management, equity, diversity and inclusion, compensation/total rewards, organizational effectiveness, project management, training and development, talent management, succession planning and HR change management.  
 
Reporting to the President and CEO, the VP of Employee Success will be a trusted guardian and committed champion of Start.ca’s progressive employee-focused culture while leading, developing and executing innovative HR strategies which will promote and foster a cohesive, equitable and increased sense of belonging and value for all team members. In addition, this forward-thinking, integrity-based senior HR professional will function as a hands-on strategic partner to the executive leadership team while taking a holistic, cross-functional, employee-centric approach to developing scalable and transformational HR plans to position the organization for current and future success.
 
As a trusted, humble and results-oriented leader, the VP of Employee Success will provide visionary leadership, guidance and motivation to a high performing Human Resources team while managing the annual goal setting, organizational design and planning process for corporate HR strategies and plans, ensuring they are in alignment with Start.ca’s corporate objectives and human capital/talent requirements.  
 
The Vice President of Employee Success will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field, CHRL designation, and present with eight-plus years of proven senior HR leadership experience in the development and execution of strategic HR plans, including - performance management, EDI, organizational effectiveness, talent management, project/change management and compensation/total rewards.  
 
With an innovative, employee-focused mindset and experience working in high growth mid to large-sized organizations and leading teams in a remote and optional in-office work setting, this senior leader will have extensive working knowledge of complex HR frameworks, metrics, KPIs, Canadian and Global employment law compliance knowledge, and a strong understanding of complex tax, legal, compensation and immigration issues related to benefits.       
 
Finally, this highly collaborative and trusting leader will work to continually enhance Start.ca’s well-recognized employee culture while demonstrating a considerable track record of success in building exceptional and productive relationships with cross-functional business partners in an entrepreneurial environment.   This candidate will understand that a brand is defined by the value it delivers, how it treats its people and customers, and its chosen leadership initiatives.
