We are currently seeking a Contract Split Shift Dispatcher to join our Oxford team.

The Opportunity

• Ensuring all routes have appropriate driver coverage and arranging substitutes for absent drivers.
• Reviewing and assigning drivers to routes and maintaining accurate route documentation.
• Logging and updating information in consortia portals to ensure compliance with school board and provincial regulations.
• Preparing, verifying, and maintaining route information using company software.
• Using and monitoring two-way radios to support drivers with on-route issues.
• Fielding incoming phone, email, and online inquiries about school transportation and charter trip bookings.
• Documenting concerns, incidents, and customer inquiries using CRM software and escalating when required.
• Coordinating charter trip bookings from entry through completion, including follow-up customer satisfaction checks.
• Receiving, verifying, and entering post-trip reports and forwarding information to Accounting and Payroll.

What We Need

• OSSD or equivalent.
• Strong customer service background with proven experience handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing professional support.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
• Strong prioritization skills, especially when managing urgent or complex issues.
• Flexibility and diplomacy to de-escalate situations and manage multiple demands.
• Excellent organizational and computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with web-based software applications and consortia portals is an asset
• Previous dispatch experience is an asset, but not required.
