Agilus is currently recruiting for an Employee Store / Sample Warehouse Associate for their client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, located in London, Ontario.

This is a one year contract offering a competitive wage.

Responsibilities/Tasks and Duties:

Employee Store Position:

• Monitor and fulfill incoming store orders using both the computer and/or telephone
• Packaging, shipping and receiving products
• Keep shelves stocked, products priced and monitor for product replenishment
• Capable of handling cash and operating a cash register
• Possess the ability to remain focused and calm during periods of time when the store may become busy and be good at multi-tasking
• Monitor necessary stationary and packaging materials and communicate reorder point

 Sample Warehouse Position

• Monitor and fulfill incoming orders
• Packaging, shipping and receiving Sales Samples and Marketing Products
• Assist with setting up and maintaining locations within the warehouse
• Put away Sales Sample and Marketing Products in the warehouse
• Monitor necessary stationary and packaging materials and communicate reorder point
• Adhere to Sales Sample policy as it relates to the warehouse
• Cutting samples for inventory, breaking down boxes and making boxes for next day
• Empty Warehouse cardboard bins and garbage bins daily

Both:

• There is a daily physical requirement to the job; bending, lifting, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling and an occasional need to climb a ladder to reach products
• Adhere to policies and EHS standards
• Maintain daily housekeeping requirements
• Ensure corporate storage/handling and shipping regulations are followed

  Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a strong team player and self directed with strong organizational and planning and communication/people skills
• Familiarity with EHS, TDG requirements a definite asset; MS Office
• Must have Retail / Customer Service experience, be honest, dependable, reliable and consistent
• Education Level: Post Secondary is preferred
• 2+ years of experience is preferred.
