Quality Assurance Specialist

Modus Medical Devices Inc., London Ontario

Start date: October 2025

Position: 6 month part-time contract position, on-site in London ON office.  Hybrid work option during certain assignments.

Company overview:

Modus QA designs and develops quality assurance products for the radiation therapy market.  This is an opportunity to be part of our dynamic and innovative local team.


Required background:

  • Enrolment or recent completion of the following programs: Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
  • Strong software background
  • Familiarity with operating an oscilloscope and function generator would be an asset


Job duties will include:

  • Executing pre-defined test cases for evaluating a hardware/software system
  • Using online tool to track test results, pass/fail and comments
  • Logging issues in bug tracking system and actively reviewing with the development team
  • Technical document writing such as user instructional guides
  • Role may evolve to include minor software development assistance for an interested candidate
