Job Description
Lucas Professional Search Group is currently working with a company in their search for a Business Development Representative.
Responsibilities include:
- develops and builds strong customer relationships
- ensures customer expectations are met on quality, service and product development
- assists in new product development, packaging and marketing initiatives
- service existing accounts as well as solicit new business
- bring new ideas and proposals that will add value to the organization
- engage with customers to build profitable sales with marketing initiatives
- participate in business reviews with major clients to review forecasts
- ensure processes and systems in place to meet supply and demand of products
- develops and contributes to annual sales plan and budget
- ensures pricing and associated gross and net margins meet company expectations and targets
Qualifications include:
- minimum 5 years produce sales experience
- excellent verbal, communication and computer skills
- proven record of professional customer engagement and sales processes
- bilingual (English/French) would be an asset
- proven ability to work with margins, budgets and forecasts
- strong team player providing regular quality communication to all internal managers
- detail oriented to provide regular monthly reports on progress of the annual plan
