Position Summary:
 
The Sales Lead Generation Specialist will be accountable for the generation of sales opportunities that lead to results for the Company. You must be an energetic, creative, achievement-oriented, self-starter who is passionate about social media, and thrives in a fast paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Focused on the generation of new sales opportunities via high daily volume telephone calls and mass communication campaigns such as email and social media.
 
Secondary Responsibilities: 
  • Conducting research to identify potential prospects.
  • Work with SVP of Sales to continuously build the lead scoring system to qualify and evaluate leads and opportunities.
  • Work with SVP of Sales to develop lead generation plans with targets and objectives.
  • Follow up on sales leads to convert to opportunities.
  • Indentify new sources for lead generation activities, including internet research, relevant blogs, and leveraging social media such as LinkedIn.
  • Maintenance of CRM database, reporting and analytics.
  • Assist the Sales team in preparing for product demonstrations and training webinars.
  • Work with Product Management, Sales and Product Development as it relates to product, industry, and competitive information learned during your work.
  • May include occasional marketing communications tasks. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience with proven results.
  • University or College degree with demonstrated excellence in your field of study. Computer Science, business or communications background would be ideal.
  • Significant knowledge and background in the Social Media space.
  • Superior written and verbal communication with excellent formal presentation skills.
  • Understanding of lead generation process and how to sales funnel process an asset.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as SugarCRM desirable.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, retain flexibility and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Proven experience in maintaining project schedules, documentation, communications, and meeting deadlines.
  • Energy and creativity a must.
  • Due to the nature of our industry, you will be asked to submit to a police background check and associated confidentiality agreement.
